Creative Mums is a network for mums (or mums to be) who combine (or want to combine) working from home in a creative profession with raising their children.

Creative Mums supports mums with advice on running a creative business by offering:

-Network Events
-Workshops

Creative Mums was started in 2004 by Angela van Boxtel, Producer Power Box Productions. Van Boxtel has been a creative mum since 1996 since the birth of her oldest son.

Van Boxtel immigrated to Sydney from the Netherlands in 2000 and with the birth of her third child she realised not much has changed in supporting mums who want to work from home. (Except that technology had made life so much easier since she first started out. ) So, she decided to bring her own experiences to good use by establishing a support network for mums.

Van Boxtel is expecting her fourth child in July 2007. After more than ten years she still happily works from home surrounded by her boys and has truly proven you can be creative, be a mum and run a business. You just have to get your priorities right and not wanting to be all a 100 % at the same time.
